The roof was created as a result of a participatory planning process in Vårberg. During the conversations, there was a demand for an illuminated meeting place, protected from the sun and rain. The result is a large screen roof with an inviting spatiality. The ceiling is perforated with patterns of the starry sky, lit up during the evening. The top of the roof is green, while the ceiling and columns have been painted in pearl white to give a lightness to the construction.
