‘Blomma’ tree grille

These grilles are part of the pattern of the square, a flower meadow in different shades of light granite slabs and cast iron. The trees emphasize the center of the cast iron flowers. The shadows of the trees interact with the meadow and add depth to the design. The whole square is built on top of a parking garage, and the placement of the trees is adjusted to reduce the load. In addition, the plantings have been designed with lightweight soil in shallow wide beds for the trees.
